Hi Polavarapu,

For calculating the Top 20 percentile in your respective 12th Boards, FIVE subjects are taken into account-

1. Physics

2. Chemistry

3. Mathematics

4. Any Language

5. Any other subject, apart from these four like Computer Science or IP.

The total is calculated out of 500 and then a list is prepared of the Top 20 percentile in all the Boards and the cutoff is different for all the categories.
