Oscar fish are not the easiest fish to care for. Your goal with any aquarium should be to maintain the tank in the same condition for your fish would encounter in the wild. Oscar fish require a water pH of around 7.2 or alkaline. And for food you should provide them with farm-raised crickets, mealworms, wax worms and wide array of other safe insects are suitable .And like most fishes are also very sensitive to changes in water temperature.
