Dear Aspirant,

Sometimes when equal marks are there for various candidates then colleges/testing agencies etc use to evaluate the students on the basis of their subject wise marks rather than overall marks. This preference could be like having two candidates with equal marks then the student with higher marks in chemistry will be given preference, or with any order of marks in the respective subjects, the list is prepared.
