Choosing the correct branch for Engineering is very crucial as a lot of your future will depend on the same. You must choose that branch in which your interest is the highest, the branch should be such that you could devote your time in it with dedication.

For example: If you like Software, Programming then Computer Science Engineering should be your preference. If you have interest in Electronics, circuits and other elements, you should check the Electrical branch. For your interest you can see in your 11-12th curriculum, which subject or chapter attracted you the most and that might help in choosing.
