Hey there

Many students feel basic electrical engineering tough but trust me it is one of the most interesting subjects you'll encounter during your BTech. For BEE you first start with basics like ohms law, linear element, passive elements like that then start with circuits and their theorems like norton etc. AC part is most important you must be having command on AC circuits. Then machines you can easily do if you'll have command in all these. If you are an electrical engineering student then I'll suggest you to be thorough with the subject it will help you further a lot. Prefer book Ashfaq Hussain it has good knowledge of you want more knowledge you can refer to foreign writers like fizrald etc.

Good luck
