Hy,

To convert CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) to percentage , the formula typically used in India is:

Percentage = CGPA × 9.5

This formula is commonly used by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and many other educational boards in India.

Example:

If your CGPA is 8.4 , then:

Percentage = 8.4 × 9.5 = 79.8%

Why 9.5?

The 9.5 multiplier is based on the average performance of students over a period of time, calculated by CBSE. This might vary depending on the board or institution, so it's always a good idea to check specific conversion rules if applicable.
