Dear aspirant, the NTA uses normalization procedure to produce score in JEE MAIN examination.  It is not the percentage of marks that you scored in the examination. Percentile depicts how your performance is relative to other students.
However if you know your percentile score you can  convert than into rank.
The expected rank can be calculated by the formula
(100- your percentile score )*869010/100.
Where 869010 is the total no of students appearing in the exam.

you cannot convert JEE main percentile score into percentage score because the percentile is calculated based on your relative position among all the candidates appeared for the exam.

Percentile score tells you the percentage of students scored less than you.therefore absolute marks does not involve in the calculation of percentile it is impossible to calculate the percentage score.

For JEE main paper 1 the number of candidates appeared in this situation is 869010

If you know the percentile score then you can calculate year expected rank based on this attend as

(100-percentile score)*869010/100
