Hello,

The decimal forms of rational numbers either and or repeat a pattern . To convert fractions to decimals you just divide the top by the bottom - divide the numerator by the denominator - and if the division doesn't come out evenly , you can stop after a certain number of decimal places and round off .

Hi there,

Follow these steps to convert rational numbers into decimal :

First convert rational number into fraction form

After that divide numerator from denominator

Then fins out exact value of division

For example:

2/3 is a rational number

Divide 2 the numerator by 3 which is denominator

And answer will be 0.667 which is in form of decimal .
