The first step for acing CAT involves analyzing your strengths and weakness. CAT preparation is not about being perfect with each and every topic. In fact, it revolves around your ability to maximize your potential, and ensure that you are fully aware of your strengths areas, and maximize your potential in these. 

Unlike graduation exams, CAT cannot be tackled by mugging in the last fifteen days.You are advised to prepare and follow a theory, mocks, analysis and revision every week.

Also, it has sectional cut-offs and negative marks per questions. Hence, selecting the right question is more important than answering all questions or guessing answers to questions.
