Hello Kaushal King. Thanks for contacting Careers360 and we hope we will be able to answer your query.
Note that JEE Mains has just finished and I am sure that you must have seen the question paper if you are in class 12. Nevertheless, frankly speaking, I should tell you that JEE Mains is based purely on the NCERT / CBSE topics of class 11 and 12. Which dies not hold true for JEE Advanced.
In the sense, that just preoaring fit JEE Mains will not even get you a decent rank in Advanced. After all, Mains is the most common engineering entrance exam for admissions into most top government colleges such as NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, DTU, etc. While Advanced is the target for those students aiming to get into the IITs, IISc, the IISERs.
JEE Advanced requires a lot more than the school curriculum. It requires more of a thorough conceptual understanding of every PCM topic. I would request you to please read this Careers360 article for more information:
Hope this helps you and all the best!
