Its good that you're thinking about the CAMT exam.  Next CMAT (Common management apptitude test)exam going to be  held in January, 2020 in 3rd or 4th week.

Basically CMAT exam is of total 400 marks consist of 100 que. For every correct ans. Uou will gain 4plus marks and for every negative ans. There is minus 1 mark. CMAT exam is of 4 section and have 25 que. Each section. 4 section are of quant., Reasoning, Englsh and gk.

For gk u have to mainly focus of the yearly current affairs. For English you have to practice for reading comprehension, para jumbles, odd one outs. Reasoning is a wide topic and have many different pattern que. Like seating arrangement, circular arrangements. And at last for quant you have to focus on the basic concepts of topic like profit and loss, percentage, alligation etc. 

For prepartion u can prefer any books available in market and practice for exam. You have long time for preparation so give your best. And still u have any query related to exam let us know.
