You need to prepare for entrance examinations first.
Then,after the exam,you need to look for colleges which offer the branch of your choice and apply for it.
Then,you have to appear for the counselling and get yourself enrolled.
There are many colleges in the country which offer mining engineering and you need to specifically clear the required exam for getting into that college.

you have to apply JEE main and appeared then according to the marks you can choose the college, or you can also apply for state entrance exam like UPSEE, MHT CET, AIEEE etc.

there is some university also where you can apply for engineering.

and you can take direct admission also in some colleges and university.
