Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG Course:

Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria for UG courses if they have cleared their 10+2 or equivalent exam with Science stream and secured minimum 50%-60% aggregate marks in Maths, Physics & Chemistry.

Admission Process for UG Course:

Aspirants are shortlisted for undergraduate course admissions at Academy of Maritime Education and Training University on the basis of marks secured by them in their:

• Qualifying Exam
• Entrance Exam
• Personal Interview round

On the basis of the above mentioned criteria a rank list is prepared for admission. Candidates who make it to the AMET University rank list for BSc-NS, BEME, GME & ETO course admissions are then subjected to a Medical Examination “which will be carried out by a team of Doctors appointed by the University from a panel of approved Doctors of the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt of India”, informs the official website.

Application Process

The application form for AMET University admissions can be filled either online or offline.Candidates need to mention their personal details, educational qualification, photograph and signature on their Academy of Maritime Education and Training application form.

Aspirants need to submit their duly filled AMET University application form either in-person or even by means of post or courier to the – Admission Office of the AMET University at Kanathur or city office at Anna Nagar”, as per the official website.

Further, candidates need to pay their application fee for Academy of Maritime Education and Training University admissions which they can do by cash, online payment or DD which is drawn in favour of ‘AMET University, Chennai’.

Along with the application form, candidates need to submit all relevant documents and certificates.

Candidates need to note that they can fill their application form by any means (offline or online) but they need to submit their duly filled application form by courier or post to the Admission Office of AMET University at Kanathur or the City office at Anna Nagar. 

The hall ticket or admit card is a part of Academy of Maritime Education and Training University application form which aspirants need to retain for all future references.
