Baruipur Govt Polytechnic college offers Diploma in Electrical, Diploma in Mechanical and Diploma in Civil Engineering courses. Admissions are done through Joint Entrance exam  JEXPO for 1st year and via VOCLET for lateral entry in 2nd year. Both these exams are conducted by WBSCTE.
