To take admission in best agriculture college you must give a national level entrance exam named as ICAR AIEEA ( All India Entrance Exam for Admissions) by NTA.

This entrance is for taking admissions in UG, PG and PhD level courses.

It's and Computer Based online test of 2:30 hours

And the eligibility for taking this exam is :

a) minimum age is 16 years.

b) must be indian citizen.

c) must have completed 10+2 with aggregate of 50% from recognised board in English medium with atleast any three Science subjects out of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

There are certain state level entrance exams also and are as follows:

BCECE/ ICAR/ MHT CET/ KEAM/ OUAT/ LPUNEST/ AAU VET/ AGRI CET/ BHU UET/ BBAU/,etc.

By clearing these exams or any exam out of mentioned above, you can get into a good agricultural college.

BSc Agriculture is a 4-year undergraduate degree awarded by Indian Universities for 10+2 students preferably with Science stream. B. Sc. in Agriculture is considered as a professional degree by the Government of India. The course is not so popular among students but the demand for trained professionals in agriculture is very high.

The eligibility criteria of most of the courses for taking admission in B.Sc agriculture is to pass with 60% total marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th. You can go for various entrance exams conducted at national and state level universities.

ICAR AIEEA: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) organizes the AIEEEA examination. It is a national level exam organized for providing admissions into UG and PG agriculture programs, and there are also other state level entrance exams for agriculture. You can also go for private Universities which has ICAR accreditation.
