An Audio Engineer is also known as a Sound Engineering technician or Audio Equipment technician.

3.. Sound Recordist: A Sound Recordist is a professional who is responsible for fitting personal mics, monitoring sound output as well as on-screen talent and contributors. He or she is required to collaborate with production and crew members, camera operators and directions.

He or she is responsible for adjusting the audio volume levels, adding sound effects and manipulating the audio frequency. He or she synchronises sound and performs troubleshooting and repairs whenever required.
