To get a Gadinaadu or Horanaadu Kannadiga certificate, follow this process and ensure you meet the eligibility:

Eligibility:

• Horanaadu Kannadiga: A person of Kannada origin residing outside Karnataka but in other states of India.

• Gadinaadu Kannadiga: A person of Kannada origin residing outside India.

• The applicant or their parent/grandparent must have studied in Kannada medium or be able to read, write, and speak Kannada.

• Must have proof of ancestry or nativity linked to Karnataka.

Documents required:

• Application form (available from the Karnataka Examination Authority or district Tahsildar office)

• Address proof (of current residence outside Karnataka/India)

• Ancestral proof (like parent’s or grandparent’s Karnataka-issued documents)

• Study certificate (if available) of applicant or parent from Karnataka

• Affidavit declaring Kannada language proficiency
