It is absolutely possible to obtain MCA admission without taking the entrance exam by using the direct admission route.

The sole prerequisite is that you have already passed the BCA or an equivalent test.

For merit-based direct admission, you must meet the institute's minimal aggregate requirement, which is usually 60% in your BCA.

You can also apply for the College's reserved management quota seats, but this will be expensive.

However, you should personally visit colleges to apply for admission. What occurs is that only a few colleges will provide admission both with and without an examination.
