Being a CA myself I can tell you it is one of the most respectful profession in India. Yes scope of a CA is wide. You can get into practice, take a job in CA firms, join the industry and the list goes on. The contribution of a CA is of great importance in the economy.
From a monetary point of view CAs get well paying jobs and the future is bright. There are always various job opportunities for CA and the market is never down. Especially with the introduction of GST, the need of a CA has only risen.

Now concerning joining the course-
If you are a 12th pass out you will need to give the CPT exam which is the first level. The registrations start from 4th April 2019 and last date is 24th April

If you are a graduate then you are exempted from CPT and join can through the Direct Entry Scheme.
