B.E. (Lateral Entry) will be a full-time 3-year Undergraduate course in Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. The eligibility criteria for the course is:

Candidates must pass in any one of the Diploma in appropriate branch of Engineering or Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu, or equivalent in relevant stream from a recognized College/University for admission to the Degree Course.

Interested candidates can apply directly to the college as selection is solely based on merit.
