After 12th you can go for IMU CET entrance exam to become Marine engineering.

IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) is regulated by the Indian Maritime University. It is an all India online common entrance tests which is conducted for admission to the UG & PG courses in the field of marine.

Eligibility for IMU CET:

For appearing in IMU CET, you need to have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates also need at least 50% marks in English in class 12th or equivalent.
