DEAR ASPIRANT,

Its already very high time for gate exam.In gate exam totally 65 questions will be present in which 35 are 2 marks and 30 are 1 mark questions and also every year approximately 25-28 marks are from aptitude and maths so, better try to score maximum marks out of this 25-28 marks.take mock tests as many as you can by that you can analyse yourself in which topics you are weak and then you can improve. check the below link so that your preparation can become easy:

GATE exam is conducted different for different engineering branches therefore as per your branches you need to be e clear with your syllabus for GATE exam as some branches have more competition like electrical engineering mechanical engineering where is some branches have less competition such as chemical engineering therefore depending upon the branch the toughness of the selection is decided.

Apart from specific syllabus there is some aptitude questions and mathematics part which is common for all the exams so you need to prepare that too if you look at the question paper of net exam then you can find that most of the questions are similar and just based on the syllabus if you are good at solving all the questions of your respective syllabus and you don't find the question paper to be tough.
