Assuming that you are asking about the M.Sc. Physics entrance examination, you need to clear your basics first. If you do not do so, the advanced stuff will not make any sense to you. You need to start from the easiest topics and then move on to more difficult ones. Focus on your calculus and solve as many numericals as you can as you can never solve too many of those. Lastly, be dedicated to what you do and you will be successful.
