Hello aspirant,

The first step in preparing for the subject of Mathematics is to not feel demotivated or have negative thoughts about the subject before actually starting the study routine.

Starting the day and your preparation schedule with a positive mind and mentality will prove to be beneficial in the long-run. Combined with a systematically structured preparation timetable and positive thoughts will ensure that you are able to prepare properly for the subject before attempting the examinations.

Make a Proper Schedule.

Structure Your Syllabus.

List Down All Equations and Theories.

Refer to Different Books.

Revision is the Key To Success.

Finally, believe in yourself. The papers may seem difficult or even impossible to crack. However, you need to motivate yourself and keep moving forward. Preparing and cracking a national-level examination is not an easy task. Therefore, you need to stay motivated to pursue the task with all your mind, soul, and strength.

Hello Aspirant,

See if you want to prepare the Mathematics section of JEE-Main then I would recommend you to solve as much as problems as you can from different topics because it will develop the thorough understanding of all concepts and you will remember all formulas forever in your mind and also try to solve previous year papers and sample papers for JEE-Main.

So what I would recommend regarding solving papers, is just solve one paper in a day in the fixed time of 1 to 1.5 hours and don't go for next paper until you clear all your doubts of Mathematics section of previous paper so the concepts will get cleared to you and you will get use to with all the formulas. You can download different previous year's question papers and sample papers of JEE-Main from the link given below :-

You can use some best side books for solving Mathematical problems for JEE-Main :-

  • Higher Algebra-Hall and Knight
  • Coordinate Geometry-S.L. Loney
  • Differential and Integral Calculus-N. Piskunov
  • Calculus and Analytic Geometry-Thomas and Finney
  • IIT Mathematics for JEE Main & Advanced-M.L. Khanna
  • Course in Mathematics for IIT-JEE-Tata McGraw Hill publication
  • Problems Plus in IIT Mathematics-A Das Gupta
  • Trigonometry-S L Loney

You can also check out our JEE-Main Learner's program which  includes the full length Mock test series  and you check out this from the link given below :-

NTA has also given the facility for mock test which you can give from the link given below :-

As we know that now the aspirants are facing their last time preparation before JEE-Main examination so now the solving papers should be the main priority because at this point of time reading of full concepts and chapters won't be the wise strategy so just be focused on solving papers and some important chapters which have more weightage as compare to that of others and for your reference I have mentioned those chapters :-
