well for conceptial reading always go for ncert books ad if u just dont understand some concepts go for visyalised learning by which you can remember it more easily and grasp information .you can go for oswall and hc verma books and even nptel and byjus available on internet.

The process to read the NCERT books is that first of all don't worry about the syllabus at all feel free to learn the topics or concepts from that NCERT books and still more information refer the some of the reference books like for physics H C vema and for biology turemans
