For claiming the ownership of a business listing, you will need to type in the address bar "business.google.com/add" and then enter your name and address of your business and click on continue. Then you will see a message indicating that someone else verified the listing. You can also claim and verify the listing yourself and after claiming click on submit. On submission, the current listing owner will receive the mail asking them to get in touch with you and you on the other hand will receive a confirmation mail.
