Hello Shubha,

  • Know that for any medical entrance exam NCERT is the basic thing to read. Get your grip strong on them.
  • Practice as much as you can. Practice MCQs from all three subjects.
  • Have Faith in yourself. Be confident that you can crack it.
  • Previous papers: JIPMER is an online test. It doesn't give out the paper. So the question papers you find in the market are not authentic. Rely more on your concepts rather than relying on previous year pattern. Personally, I suggest MTG publications for biology and past JIPMER papers.
  • Be attentive in class.
  • Time management is very important in JIPMER. You need to solve 200 questions in only 150 mins, i.e. 2.5 hrs.
  • For JIPMER, one needs a good knowledge of English and Reasoning. English is a little tricky, not so simple. Newspapers are the best source for building up the required vocabulary for English. For reasoning, one just needs to use his brain logically and practice some mental ability questions beforehand.
  • Mental ability is easy stuff, just go with a fresh mind.
  • JIPMER keeps on repeating questions from previous years exam so ensure you solve all previous years question papers of NEET, AIIMS, and JIPMER.

Good luck!
