Hello aspirant,

B.SC optometry is a full time 3 year underfgraduate course divide into six sem of six months each.Qualification of this course is 10th and 12th completed from a recognized educational Board.Admission procedure is counseling afterqualification of a relevant entrance examination ,it takes admission through AIIMs,JNU,DU,CMC etc..,Course Fee is 2 to 6 lakhs ,Average salary 2.5 to 8 lakhs.

Top recruiting areas are contact lens & opthalmic lens industry,Eye clinics,Hospital eye departments etc..,

Admission procedure :

Admission to B.sc Optometry course is provided to eligible candidates on the performs in a relevant entrance examination,Which is conducted by either concerned institution or state or national.

Quality students can enter into counseling process comparises two additional rounds of group discussion and personal interview,where in the candidates is general aptitute for the course is examined and seats are alloted to qualifying students although some college in india ,provide admission on the basis of marks scored in the last qualifying examination (class 12th).

Bachelor of Optometry is a 4 year course designed for under graduation in which students study about structure, diagnosis, treatment etc of eye and eye related body organs. The number of colleges that offer this course is not really too big. In order to get admission in this course, you must have cleared 12th with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The entrance exams includes AIIMS, and NEET for the top colleges Some of the best colleges that offer this course are AIIMS, Christian Medical College, SRM institute of technology. Most of the universitites admit without an entrance exam. Applications are generally available online.

optometry is a full time 3 year undergraduate course.It invovles the advanced study of the clinical skills involved in professionally measuring eyesight,prescribing corrective lenses and detecting eye diseases.

To take admission in this course,the eligibility criteria is that the cndidate must qualify his/her 10th and 12thbexam from a recognized board.Admission of this course is offered on the basis of entrance exam and thereafter releasing the merit list,and the merit students are then called for counscelling.

Entrance exam for this course are AIIMS,JNU,DU,CMC etc

After completing this course,job opportunity available are as Optometrist,Optician,Sales executive,eye doctor,teacher.
