University exams are mostly online entrances exams .For preparing those exams attend all the mock test provided by university and refer the model papers . The questions were also asked form basic standards also so go through the university site and check for the modelpapers and appear for the mocktest

 This depends on the university and course you want to apply. Some universities select student on the basis of their score in class 12th, many other take entrance tests.  Entrance tests are either on what you have studied in 12 or it is based on class 10th based information.
