There are around 4000 seats (now in 2018- 2019 batch) for CSE in SRM Institute of Science and Technology main campus KTR (Kattankulathur) .

I heard this year CS, IT, SWE is merged, all together as a Computer Science which is a good sign.. Parents willing to take IT, SWE will not feel disheartened now because of unavailability in CS branch. More better option to get into; for their wards.

Seats are divided in two categories i.e, Category A( Merit Based Enrollment) and Category B.( Management Seat)

The only difference between both the categories is the fee structure which varies by around 1 to 1.5 lac.

If u are going for management quota in SRM main campus the fee for CSE is 3.6 lac per annum.
