Both RD Sharma objective RD Sharma very good books but objective RD Sharma is more useful for competitions such as it provide you the level of questions which will help you to study for JEE mains exam. And the book is objective type so that is why it is more favourable for preparing for competitive exams like JEE Mains.

Where as the book RD (non objective type) is more useful for school level examinations such as your CBSE and ICSE School Board examinations.

If you are interested you can solve objective RD Sharma for preparing for competitive exams but the book RD Sharma (the non objective type) will help you to clear your basics and will help you you by providing a broad number of questions asked in board exams in different years and will let you to to make your basics strong.

If you only want to study for school board exams then go for( non objective type )R D Sharma and if you want to prepare for both JEE mains and school board exams then go for both of the books RD Sharma (objective type) and RD Sharma (non objective type).
