Hii,

GJ Advani Law College is one of the top ones and usually has a higher cutoff, often above 92% for general category students. So, getting into Advani might be a bit tight unless you're from a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC, etc.). But don't lose hope cutoffs do fluctuate every year based on seat availability and student performance.

On the other hand Ravindra Chavan Law College generally has a more relaxed cutoff compared to Advani, so your chances here are better. Keep an eye on the CAP rounds Also, apply to a few backup colleges just in case.

All the best!

With 89.31 percentile in MHT CET 2025 for 3-year law, it will be very difficult for you to get admission into G.J. Advani Law College or Yashwantrao Chavan Law College (also known as Ravindra Chavan Law College).

These colleges are top law colleges in Maharashtra and usually need a very high percentile, mostly above 95 to 96 percentile for general category students. Even for state quota seats, the last round cutoff for G.J. Advani Law College in 2024 was around 96 percentile. For out-of-state candidates, the cutoff was even higher, close to 97 percentile.

For Yashwantrao Chavan Law College in Pune, the cutoff was also around 90.84 percentile or higher for LL.B. and even higher for BA LL.B.

So, with 89.31 percentile, your chances to get a seat in these two specific colleges are very low. You can try for other law colleges that accept lower scores, or consider management quota or private colleges if you are open to that.

Hi dear candidate,

If we speak on the basis of previous year trends of cut off then,

GJ Advani Law College: The MHT CET cut off for the 3 year LLB course 104 to 137 in 2024 (meaning 97% score). Thus, your chances of admission in this college are very slim.

Ravindra Chava Law College: There is no specific data that we have to talk about but you may get admission here but not guaranteed.

yes, With 89.31% in MHCET 2025 for 3 year law, you do have a decent chance of getting a seat, especially in colleges like Ravindra Chavan Law College. For GJ Advani Law College, the cutoffs are usually a bit higher, so it might be slightly competitive. But still, you should definitely keep both colleges in your option form during counselling.

With 89.31 percentile in MH CET 2025 (3-year Law), your chances for G.J. Advani Law College are very low. This college usually closes at around 95–97 percentile for general category students. Ravindra Chavan Law College may have slightly lower cutoffs, but even there, the chances are not strong.

You might have better chances in other law colleges with lower closing percentiles, especially in aided or semi-aided colleges in cities like Thane or Navi Mumbai. Try listing more options during the choice filling for better chances.

Hello!

So as per your score that is 89.31% in MHCET three year law your chances of getting admission in  G.J. Advani Law College is less because the cutt offs usually goes higher around 92% for general category students but if you belong to SC, ST or OBC than you can get admission as cutt offs for reserved category goes between 84-88%.

While Ravindra Chavan Law college iscompetitive than G.J.College. The cutt offs for general category in Ravindra Chavan is around 85-89% and less for reserved category.

Make sure to correctly fill both the colleges in the counselling.
