If you are from the ST (Hill) category and you got 200 marks in NEET 2024, and you are trying for admission in Gauhati Medical College, then it may not be possible to get a seat.
Usually, for ST (Hill) category, students who get around 346 to 421 marks are able to get MBBS seats in Assam government colleges. But 200 marks is too low for Gauhati Medical College because it is one of the top colleges and needs a higher rank even in the reserved category.
You can try in other government medical colleges in Assam like Diphu, Tezpur, Dhubri, or Barpeta where the cutoff may be a little lower, but even for these colleges, 200 marks might still be low.
