You can apply for JEE MAIN Entrance Exam to be eligible for JEE Advance as diploma holder can apply for IITs only but in the first year of B.tech program. they will not be eligible to take admission on the basis of JEE Main score.

yes,you're eligible to apply for iit's.but you can't get lateral entry/direct 2nd year admissions,you'll be treated as +2 freshers and you'll get admission to the first year only.for that you've to give jee advanced after get qualifying in jee mains.
