Dear Student,

By partial dropper it means that after 12th you have not done anything for 6 months. And during this time your whole focus is on JEE exam. So in my opinion you must not waste your whole year.

If you have already used your 6 months then during the left 6 months you can prepare for JEE Mains again with a new start . You have to make up your mind. But if you have very good percentage in 12th then you can take admission to regular courses like BSc in some college. But do fast as the admissions are closing.

But strictly speaking despite of wasting your whole year , do your best in preparation of JEE again and get a very good rank in next year JEE . By this you will get top colleges.

Hope this helps.
