I am a polytechnic (electrical engg) student. I have done polytechnic after passing hslc. Can I do my B.tech in electrical engineering here?

Dear Sir,

Yes! You can join BTech / BE based on your polytechnic course.

You can take admission in B.Tech through two examinations. One is through lateral entry entrance examination which allows you directly into second year B.tech and other is engineering entrance examination which is Jee and you can join from the first year.

Just that the lateral seats are very few and competition is very tough
