First of all note that, JEE Main Result will no longer have normalization of Class XII marks. From 2017, candidates are awarded JEE Main AIRs on the basis of their JEE Main scores.

That means, it just doesn't matter how many marks you scored in class 12 as long as you pass class 12.

Thus, admissions into NITs depend on just JEE Mains ranks. I would advice you to look at this Careers360 article for reference:
