You just have to contact the school that you want to join and they will let you know the procedure . You may have to show up at the board's regional office and get some papers also.

And yes , you should have a genuine reason for that also otherwise it will become difficult for you to take a permission for this as you know normally you have to do your +2 from same school and same board.

No, you cannot change your board from C.B.S.E to State Board, once you have completed your 11th class from C.B.S.E Board. You have to continue on the same board and complete your 12th class from the same. If you wish to study from State Board, then again you have to study 11th class in the State Board.
