I am a student of bcom and want to do specialisation in MBA in event management what should I do???

Hello SR,
In order to get admission for MBA you have to give entrance exam.Here I am giving you information about some of the top entrance exams preferred by most of the Institutes for their admission process and exam patterns for them.
1)CAT (Common Admission Test):
Conducting Institute: IIMs
CAT Eligibility: 50% in Graduation for General and 45% for Reserved. Final year students can also apply.
CAT Exam Syllabus:

Quantitative Ability

Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension

Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning

CAT Exam Pattern: CAT is an online exam. It has 3 sections with 3 hours of time resulting 60 minutes for each section.
This is the Most common MBA entrance exam in INDIA preferred by top b-schools and IIMs.
2)XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test):
Conducting Institute: Xavier School Of Management
XAT Eligibility: candidates with any bachelor degree can apply. Final year students can also apply.
XAT Exam Syllabus:
Part I:
1. Quantitative Ability
2. English Language & Logical Reasoning
3. Decision Making
Part II:
1. GK
2. Essay Writing
XAT Exam Pattern: Now XAT is also an online exam. Exam duration is three and half hours. The exam is divided into two parts. Duration of part 1 is two hours and twenty minutes.
After CAT, XAT MBA entrance exam is the most preferred exam by the Institutions.
3)GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test):
Conducting Institute: GMAC
GMAT Eligibility: A degree from a reputed university is needed. There is no age limit for this exam.
GMAT Exam Syllabus:
1. Analytical Writing Assessment
2. Integrated Reasoning
3. Quantitative Aptitude
4. Verbal Reasoning
GMAT Exam Pattern: There are 4 sections in this exam. Two sections have 30 minutes time and for other 2 sections, it is 75 minutes. Total duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes. This exam pattern is different to other exams. It is a computer adaptive test.

its very great to hear you would like to do an MBA whle firstly shortlist the colleges you would like join after that check out there eligibility criteria as many college prefer the work EX since if you have work experience its great, if you dont have the work ex kindly work then later do MBA it has greater value

after getting the eligibility criteria you prepare for CAT, XAT and get a goood score
