Getting a 93-95% in class 12th is a good start.

You should atleast try giving jee mains once without dropping, then check your score.

After that if you are satisfied with your score, opt for college otherwise drop a year for preperation as a drop year won't make much diff in future.

I can only say confidence leads to success. Age is just a number and imagine if you will be able to crack Jee in this attempt and fortunately get selected for prestigious institutions then by the age of 20 unlike others you probably earning in Lakhs.

My advise will be don't think about droping  this year before attempting Jee Main.

If you are able to understand all topics of physics, chemistry and mathematics you need not to join coaching. If not off course you should.

Brother, I got 93.6% marks in 12th std. ,in cbse delhi in the just previous year 2016 , now, I am giving exam as a dropper. Previous year, I was not able to clear even the cutoff (7 marks short of it) ,But this year I am confidently eyeing 200+. So yeah! It is good to drop. It would be very difficult as most of your friends would be going to college and there photos and status on social media will lure you to quit the drop year and take any stupid college . But, you have to focus and stick to your decision at any cost. One year of suffering will make rest of your life comfortable. So it's better to drop. :)

don't bother about it in the starting itself. It is not said by the government officially. So wait until the official government's statement comes and don't trust any other source until then. No one knows about exam being subjective or its time limit or solution . There are only speculations. So wait until any official remark.
