Dear Indranil, you will have to appear few entrance examinations for admission into B. Tech. Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main is the national level undergraduate engineering entrance exam. The entrance exam is the gateway for the admission to various B.Tech/B.E. programmes offered by 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 CFTIs. For now JEE Main 2019 admit cards have been released. So its late for JEE Main. Apart from that you can write state wide entrance tests for admission into B. Tech courses. WBU CET is one amongst them.
