There are 5 candidature for MHTCET

• Maharashtra state (it again has sub types)
• All Inidia
• Minority
• J&K Migrant
• Child of NRI

Now as you have completed 10th & 12th from Maharashtra state, to claim Maharashtra state candidature, you should have domicile of Maharashtra state and/or born in Maharashtra state.

As it is mentioned in the official document. Now if you have this then you are type A candidate of Maharashtra state
