If you completed your PhD through distance education in 2010 and never collected the original degree certificate, you can still get it from your university. Since many years have passed, you will probably need to apply for the degree certificate or a convocation certificate. Here is the process you can follow: 1. Contact the University First, contact the Registrar or Controller of Examinations of the university that awarded your PhD. For distance education students, the work is usually handled by the Distance Education / DDE department. They will tell you the exact procedure and fee. 2. Fill the Application Form Go to the university website and download the form called: “Degree Certificate Application” or “Convocation Form”.
