First of all don't get demotivated. There is still a while for JEE Main. So, I would suggest you to focus on basics. Also practice a lot of previous year papers or rather I would suggest you to by heart them.
If you to learn the basics, then start from NCERT and make your base strong. After that you can move to standard books like HC Verma for physics, R.D. Sharma for maths etc.
Also, keep yourself socially active. This will actually help you a lot.
Also, never forget than IITs/NITs is not end of life and there many still great opportunities left in your life.
