The Food Safety Officer is a reputed post that falls under Group 'B' personnel. They are recruited by State Public Service Commission.

The food safety officers ensures that the food products are safe for consumers.

The eligibility criteria is  :-

:- B.Sc. in Food Technology

- B.Sc. in Dairy Technology

:- B.Sc. in Home Science

:- B.Sc. in Agricultural Science

: - B.Sc. in Biochemistry

:- B.Sc. in Medicine

:- B.Sc. in Microbiology

Or, Bachelor's degree in Food technology, Dairy Technology, Oil technology etc.

The Age limit is 21years to 40 years.

The selection is based on merits and qualifications. The first round of exam is Preliminary Exam, that includes MCQs and Objective questions. The second round is Written exam and then, Interview is held.
