This is the question I regret not asking myself a year ago. Apart from jee you can also apply for WBJEE, BITSAT, VIT, COMEDK, SRM, SNUSAT, Maharashtra CET, and many more. Also if you are interested in design of any form you have many more exams like NIFT, UCEED, NID etc. College shows you only one way which is mains or advanced. So know about more such exams because not everyone ends up in an IIT.

Hello aspirant ! Let me to inform you that it depends on you that which college you want to go in. If you want to go for nits, iiits , iit , gftis  then you will have to appear for the jee mains and jee advance exam only. If you want to go to other state government college then you will have to give the exam for that board, like webjee for jadavpur university,  kiit entrance for Kalinga institute and so on.
