Yes you are eligible for AIIMS, but I don't know if you will be able to manage both, the after process and the internship both, because it depends on the type of your internship which you haven't really mentioned. If it is work from home or whatever. It finally depends on you. What I feel is, apply for that, if it doesn't work out then ignore. At least you'll have something to back up.
