GPA is multiplied by 9.5 to get the percentage. A person who scores a 10 on 10 GPA would have scored anything between 95% and 100%. The system of GPA was introduced to take off hard feelings of losing top ranks. According to the board and universities which issue grade points instead of percentage, everyone is a topper who scores 95% and above. Anyone who scores between 81 and 100 have scored 9 on 10, 71 to 80 has scored 8 on 10 and so on. This is the best technique of awarding marks is one of the best practices India has ever adopted. During the counselling process of PEESAT, you need to carry 2 photocopies of all documents as mentioned by them in their website along with original and handover to them for verification.
