There are two cutoffs in NEET exam: Qualifying Cutoff and Admission Cutoff. Clearing qualifying cutoff you will be eligible to participate in state and central level counselling.

Qualifying cutoff is decided by NTA.

Admission cutoff depends college to college. It is decided by DGHS. The cutoff depends on the number of seats sanctioned, category of candidate, overall performance of candidates in NEET UG and previous year trend.

Last year qualifying score for open category candidates was 701-134. So to get into government BHMS colleges you need to score 600+
