I am from WBCHSC ( west bengal ) board .We were given two choices during admission in +1 , either math + computer science or math + bio . I chosed bio option .Now Bio is in optional elective subject option in my marksheet .Am I falling under 'additional bio' category for neet 2021 ? just curious .

Hi

Yes, you are eligible for Neet examination.

This is because,

Biology as an additional or optional subject is acceptable in NEET examination

So you are eligible for Neet examination even if you have Biology as an additional or optional subject provided you must have passed in English and in both the theory and practical of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50  % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if belong to general category , or  at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st
